About The Position

The Florida Veterinary Referral Center (FVRC) in Estero, FL is hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding ER team! FVRC is a state-of-the-art 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital with great doctors, amazing staff, and great customer service. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years working as a veterinary technician, preferably in emergency medicine.
• Understanding of all basic veterinary knowledge, including restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with both clients and team members.
• Fluent English skills (speaking and reading) are required.

Nice To Haves

• LVT certification is prioritized.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary care.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging.
• Perform phlebotomy.
• Administer anesthesia.
• Operate laboratory equipment and perform procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
