About The Position

WestVet, a MedVet partner, is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its hospital in Boise, Idaho. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to high-quality emergency medicine and critical care. The veterinarian will join MedVet’s Emergency Medicine Team, which treats more than 100,000 patients annually. WestVet Boise is a VECCS Level 2-certified hospital and Idaho’s only 24/7 multispecialty and emergency center. The state-of-the-art facility includes MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, and fully equipped arthroscopy and laparoscopy towers. The hospital’s specialties include anesthesiology, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, internal medicine, medical oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, radiology, rehabilitation, and surgery. Its emergency department provides 24/7 care for the Boise area, alongside a group of rotating interns. MedVet/WestVet is a veterinarian-owned and veterinarian-led multispecialty and emergency organization. Doctors are eligible to become shareholders and participate in the ownership and growth of hospitals across the country. Opportunities for advancement and leadership are available. New emergency clinicians may ask about the Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program. The team includes doctors, certified technicians, assistants, and client service representatives who collaborate to provide care.
