About The Position

Animal Clinic Northview is a full-service veterinary and emergency hospital in the greater Cleveland area. Established in 1977, the AAHA-accredited clinic has 34 doctors and 175 staff members and provides care across medicine, surgery, and emergency services. Its recently expanded 36,000-square-foot facility includes digital radiography and ultrasonography, CT with 3-D reconstruction, endoscopy, laparoscopy, orthopedic and soft tissue surgical suites, rehabilitation facilities, therapeutic laser treatment, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, and a 24-hour ICU. The Emergency Veterinarian will provide high-quality emergency medicine while communicating effectively with clients and collaborating on case management. The role is suited to a compassionate, skilled DVM who can remain calm and solve problems in emergency situations, work independently, and contribute to a supportive multidisciplinary team. The position is overnight. Compensation includes a competitive salary with additional production-based earning potential; a sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement may be available.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
Compassionate approach and desire to practice high-quality emergency medicine.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills, including the ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
Excellent client communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
