About The Position
Join us as an Emergency Veterinarian at VCA California Veterinary Services Murrieta and you’ll quickly discover that you’ll be well supported by world-class medicine, technology, facilities and a talented team. You’ll be empowered to do your best work with a team you can count on. At VCA, the future of veterinary medicine is in our hands. This is a multi-specialty hospital providing services in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care and Oncology. You will work alongside 15 doctors, 30 RVTs and 30 Veterinary Assistants. The hospital has a long-standing internship program and is a 12,000 square foot facility offering Digital Radiography, Ultrasound (diagnostic), EMR, Orthopaedic Procedure Equipment, and CT. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship. The schedule involves 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, and doctors should be available to work swings and nights. The hospital operates 24/7 and sees cases involving dogs and cats.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain
