Join us as an Emergency Veterinarian at VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital in Cerritos, California and you’ll quickly discover that you’re well supported by world-class medicine, technology, facilities and a talented team. Work alongside a team of 8 doctors, 13 RVTs and 31 Veterinary Assistants in a 10,000 square foot hospital offering Digital radiography, acupuncture, an endoscopy tower, multiple ultrasounds, O2 cages, a ventilator, a complete in-house lab, and plenty of IV pumps, syringe pumps, and monitoring equipment. Opportunity to work in a hybrid setting and see a variety of cases and perform surgery. This AAHA-accredited hospital has been serving the community for over 75 years. The cases primarily involve dogs and cats with occasional wildlife through animal control contacts.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
