About The Position

Emergency Veterinary Hospital is looking to welcome a Full-Time Emergency Room Veterinarian to our team and our rapidly growing VECCS certified hospital! The Emergency Veterinary Hospital is a family-oriented practice that works hard to build a culture of collaboration and wellness. Along with a Criticalist and a Neurologist, our fully staffed ER is ready to welcome another DVM to our mix as we continue to grow! Our goal is to enable all of our doctors and support staff to practice in an environment that fosters quality of life, professional development, and excellent care. We have been AAHA accredited since 2008 and our commitment to these standards enable our associates to practice the best quality of medicine they know how. Our hospital boasts a robust mentoring program to guide associates with less experience in the ER field. We offer a fully-equipped diagnostic laboratory, cutting-edge surgical facilities, digital radiography, ultrasound and CT. You will be working closely with our team including our Medical Director, Dr. Max Rinaldi. Dr. Rinaldi, was raised in Nevada and received his DVM from Kansas State University, graduating in 2012. Dr. Rinaldi then spent a year in a rotating Internal Medicine and Surgery Internship at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, followed by a year internship in Exotic Animal Medicine and Surgery at Louisiana State University. Dr. Rinaldi's professional interests include emergency and critical care, emergency surgery, and exotic animal medicine. He is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Our core values—do the right thing, fun, wow service, respect, and learning—guide everything we do at Emergency Veterinary Hospital. Our commitment to pets extends beyond our hospital walls. Our Team Members can give back to communities around the globe through our partnership with World Vets. Each year, we send a group of doctors and support staff abroad to help pets in need and support programs that nurture healthy relationships between people and animals. Emergency Veterinary Hospital is part of the Lakefield Veterinary Group—a family-owned company that offers support and resources to hospital teams while empowering them to make decisions about how they practice medicine and show up for their communities.
