About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a full-time Emergency Service Head Veterinarian (ERSH) who will work alongside our ER Clinicians, Specialists, and Leadership Team to ensure the highest quality medicine and services for pets and our community. This position provides the opportunity to shape the ER service through scheduling, hiring, and training decisions, lead team meetings, and represent the ER department in hospital leadership. Working closely with the Medical Director, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality patient care and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. BluePearl Auburn Hills is proud to offer: Annual base salary + annual ERSH stipend + additional earning potential through quarterly production bonus (NO negative accrual). BluePearl Auburn Hills serves the areas of Auburn Hills, Pontiac, Rochester Hills and Troy. Our services include 24/7 emergency medicine, dermatology, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology and diagnostic imaging. Our 10,000-square-foot hospital opened in 2003 and is equipped with advanced equipment including a diode laser, CT scanner and digital radiography. Requirements

DVM from accredited university required.
Successful completion of rotating internship or the BluePearl’s EmERge program required.
2+ years of clinical experience required.
Must possess valid applicable DVM licensure.
Demonstrated capacity to multitask and successfully manage competing priorities required.
Strong leadership ability with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated stress tolerance and attention to detail.
Strong ability to mentor and train less experienced Clinicians and Interns.

Prior shift lead experience preferred.
