About The Position

ARISE is hiring a full time Emergency Veterinary Technician. This is a full-time opportunity in Queen Creek, AZ. ARISE is a 24-hour emergency and specialty animal hospital that has the most skilled doctors in the state and provide significantly complex treatments in the western US. Our clinical team works closely with neurologist, internist, dermatologist, oncologist and a surgical team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. Requirements

  • Proficient and accurate in drug calculations and administration
  • Experience in Triage
  • Experience in veterinary medicine and surgery
  • Proficient IV catheter placement
  • Proficient and accurate drug calculations
  • Proficient in anesthesia
  • Strong working knowledge of veterinary procedures and pharmacology
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of veterinary procedures and pharmacology
  • Quality nursing and husbandry care of patients
  • Compassion, patience, and empathy when working with clients and their pets
  • Familiarity with common dog and cat breeds
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology
  • Education, training, or experience in the veterinary field
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to providing exceptional patient care
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment
