About The Position

The Emergency Recovery Coordinator (ERC) serves the community by consulting with property owners impacted by fire, water damage, or other large-scale emergency events. The role involves cooperating with emergency response agencies, creating customer loyalty, and participating in community awareness events. ERCs work with owners, adjusters, Project Managers, First Responders, and Community Leaders after traumatic events to help customers transition from chaos to calm. This role requires quick, controlled thinking to assure property owners that their property is being cared for. ERCs are dynamic speakers comfortable in one-on-one and group settings. The team puts emphasis on living its Vision, Mission, and Values, aiming to be more than just a service provider. Emergency Recovery Coordinators are on the front lines of restoring communities by directly consulting with property owners impacted by fire, water damage, or other large-scale emergency events. After training, you will have the autonomy to control your schedule and continually seek learning opportunities to improve your skillset.

Requirements

  • Ability to clearly deliver truth and give certainty when property owners need it most

  • Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required

Responsibilities

  • Serve your community when it needs it the most
  • Generate revenue opportunities by directly consulting with property owners impacted by fire, water damage, or other large-scale emergency events
  • Cooperate with public emergency response agencies and private entities
  • Create and retain customer loyalty and preference by establishing a positive and trusting relationship with the customer
  • Participate in restoration related community awareness events and programs
  • Proactively searches for, acts upon potential opportunities
  • Work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers, First Responders, and Community Leaders after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to help our customers receive the highest quality care as they transition from chaos to calm.
  • Be familiar with assigned territory
  • Responsible for educating the customer on products or services and effectively articulate the use and need
  • Monitors interprets and responds to lead sources
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships in the local community
  • Volunteer non-operational time to related community events
  • On-call 24/7 to include weekends and holidays as scheduled

  • Provide emergency recovery kits and services to the impacted property owner
