About The Position

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking a full-time specialist in Emergency Medicine at their Capitol Hill Medical Center. MAPMG is a physician-led group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. MAPMG physicians earn competitive salaries and do not have income based on individual services. The group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties and utilizes a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) for care coordination. Their focus is on long-term health, prevention, diagnosing, and treating diseases effectively, with support for innovative ideas, quality care, educational programming, and research.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
• Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care
• Communicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate)
• Lead with integrity

• Go “above and beyond” for their patients

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a dynamic clinical setting.
• Direct patient care.
• Work in Advanced Urgent Care or Urgent Care settings.
• Collaborate within a mixed-specialty department.
• Participate in overnights, holidays, and on-call duty.
