About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Emergency Medicine Physician in Walla Walla, WA. The role involves providing comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages in an inpatient setting. The physician will be responsible for initial patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans, managing acute medical emergencies, collaborating with nursing staff and specialists, and accurately documenting patient encounters in the Epic EMR system. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 22 beds in the department and an average daily patient volume of 23. Most specialties are covered, with 24/7 tele-stroke and cardiac cath lab availability.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Active WA license or Universal License (IMLC)
- DEA required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
