About The Position

Carle Health is seeking additional Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians to join their quality-oriented department at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. This is a part-time position within a stable, 45-member department that sees 92,000 patients annually and includes 25 Advanced Practice Providers. Physicians will have the choice to work at a Level I Trauma Center, a nearby critical access hospital, or a combination of both. The department offers 24-hour in-house coverage from various specialties including Anesthesia, Intensivists, Trauma, OB/GYN, ED, and Hospitalists, with Pediatric Hospitalists and PICU available 24/7. There are opportunities for ultrasound work, as well as teaching and research through the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, which focuses on the intersection of healthcare and engineering. Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Physician licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois.

Responsibilities
