About The Position

Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced, board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to join its Emergency Medicine team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working as a solo provider in a 22-bed Emergency Department with an average daily volume of 90-100 patients. The physician will be expected to provide outstanding and compassionate care, acting as the sole physician with strong Physician Assistant support. Shift times are 7 AM to 7 PM and/or 7 PM to 7 AM. This is a PRN 1099 contract opportunity with competitive compensation and complimentary hospital apartments. The hospital offers a wide scope of services, including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology, with 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage. Strong air and ground support are available for patient transfers. The location offers close proximity to Raleigh and Wilmington, North Carolina.

Requirements

• Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician.
• Experienced physician.
