About The Position

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This role involves providing emergency medical care in a Level II Trauma Center with a high daily patient volume. The physician will manage a diverse case mix and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Coverage is ongoing starting March 31, 2026, with varied shift schedules.

Requirements

Residency trained in Emergency Medicine required
Board Certified or Eligible in ABEM or ABPS/EM
Active AR medical license
Active AR DEA license
ATLS certification required
Current CV
Driver's License
CME activity (last 2 years)
TB Test/Flu within 12 months
COVID vaccination

Nice To Haves

ACLS and PALS not required

Responsibilities

Provide emergency medical care to patients in a Level II Trauma Center.
Manage high patient volume (average 132 patients/day) with a 30% admit rate.
Work various shifts including days, mids, and nights as part of a 60 MD / 12 NPPA coverage model.
Perform emergency procedures consistent with Level II trauma center.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including nursing and advanced practice providers.
