About The Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage at a hospital in Mason City, IA. This is an inpatient role requiring clinical coverage only. The position involves providing emergency department physician coverage, supervising advanced practice providers, and managing an average daily patient volume of 77 patients. The physician will work varied shifts, including 9- and 12-hour shifts, with up to 15 shifts per month. This is a supplemental coverage need for an ongoing period starting November 13, 2026. The facility is a 250-bed hospital with a Level III Trauma designation and utilizes the Epic EMR system. Teaching opportunities are available at this teaching hospital.
Requirements
- Board Certified in ABEM
- IA or IMLC License
- ATLS Certification
- Clean background
- Hospital Privileges Required
