About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is hiring Emergency Medicine Physicians in Gulfport, Mississippi, to provide wound care and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and other post-acute settings. The role offers full-time or part-time work, with weekday daytime schedules and no nights, weekends, holidays, or call. Physicians evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds, perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures, and use advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols. They collaborate with facility care teams and follow patients through healing. No previous wound care experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. Compensation is based on patients and procedures, with quarterly bonus programs. The stated full-time annual salary range is $250,000–$500,000, with no earning cap as an independent contractor and top performers earning over $500,000 through performance bonuses. Candidates must complete confidential pre-employment DiSC testing and relevant skills testing.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted or clear medical license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Complete pre-employment confidential DiSC testing and relevant skills testing.

• Previous wound care experience is not required; comprehensive wound care training is provided.
