About The Position
Endeavor Health seeks a dynamic, patient-focused Emergency Medicine Physician at Edward Hospital. This full-time position has a rotating shift schedule. The Emergency Medicine team is dedicated to excellent patient care, bedside clinical teaching for a variety of learners, advancing acute care through research, and providing education and service to the community. The emergency department is part of a community-based healthcare system and includes Level I and Level II trauma centers, a cardiac catheterization lab for emergent cardiac intervention, patient rooms, and four fast-track settings for minor injuries. The department is a residency training site for medical students and residency programs affiliated with the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Cook County, and NorthShore University HealthSystem. It also has an ultrasound program and a simulation fellowship program. The physician will join Endeavor Health, a comprehensive, fully integrated healthcare delivery system and a multispecialty group practice with more than 900 physicians, over 100 office locations, and more than 2,400 affiliated physicians. The organization offers a collegial work atmosphere and the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals. Compensation ranges from $270,692 to $433,523; placement within the range depends on factors including FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance.
Requirements
- License or eligibility for licensure in the state of Illinois.
- Board certified or board eligible.
- Completion of a breast or surgical oncology fellowship.
- J-1 visa sponsorship is not available.
