About The Position

BlueWater is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine PA or NP for full time work at Neighborhood Health Center's Emergency Department. Join our local team of strong and dedicated EM providers to make a difference in our patients’ lives. This role is within a physician-owned and physician-led emergency medicine group. The satellite emergency department provides emergency services for 35,000 patients per year and is equipped with a level two laboratory and basic radiology services with a CT scanner soon to come. The facility has undergone a $5 million renovation including a dedicated Fast Track area. Certified interpreters are on site and available 24/7. This position is with BlueWater Health, which manages staff and expands services in the emergency department to better serve the community. The department is dedicated to service, growing clinical strength, and serving an underserved but rapidly gentrifying area on the Boston Harbor waterfront. It is a satellite emergency department affiliated with Boston Medical Center, minutes to premier academic medical centers in Boston. There is complete support from the administration and leadership of this democratic group of emergency physicians and APPs where your opinion counts. There are three physician shifts and three overlapping shifts of nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The acuity is low to moderate, with potential admissions transferred ED to ED for further evaluation and disposition.
