About The Position

BlueWater Health is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine physician assistants or nurse practitioners for full- or part-time emergency department and urgent care work at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine. The position offers 8–12-hour shifts, with 1,440 clinical hours per year considered full time and the opportunity to work additional hours. The Emergency Department has 22 exam rooms and operates within a 233-bed acute care facility. Clinical resources include subspecialty support in Surgery, Cardiology, Hospital Medicine, Neurology, Orthopedics, GYN, and Psychiatry; Critical Care consultations via telemedicine; and onsite laboratory and imaging services. A dedicated behavioral and mental health emergency department is staffed by psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, and other staff.
