About The Position
BlueWater Health is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners for per diem work at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine. The role is based in an emergency department with 22 modern exam rooms within a 233-bed acute care facility. The hospital is part of an integrated system offering primary and specialty care, community clinical services, psychiatric services, and long-term care. Available subspecialty support includes Surgery, Cardiology, Hospital Medicine, Neurology, Orthopedics, GYN, and Psychiatry; Critical Care consultations are available through telemedicine. The ED has onsite laboratory and imaging services and a dedicated behavioral and mental health emergency department staffed by psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, and other staff. The hospital also provides inpatient psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as chemical dependency services.
