Emergency Medicine - Full Time - NP/PA APP

Atrium Health Cabarrus Emergency Department in Concord, NC, provides compassionate, high-quality emergency care for patients experiencing life-threatening injuries, illnesses, and other acute medical conditions. From broken bones and severe cuts to heart attacks and strokes, the team is dedicated to delivering timely, expert care when patients and families need it most. Open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, the emergency department cares for children and adults of all ages. Care teams work quickly and thoughtfully to understand each patient’s symptoms, determine the best next steps, and provide reassurance throughout the care experience.
Requirements
- NC PA/NP license
- NPs must be ENP boarded or eligible
- BLS
- ACLS before starting
- Must obtain ATLS after starting eventually.

Responsibilities
- Based primarily at Atrium Cabarrus Medical Center, a Level III trauma center with 40 emergency department beds.
- The APP would mainly support emergency medicine care at Cabarrus, with some rotation or “flow” to the freestanding emergency departments in Kannapolis and Harrisburg.
- APPs are actively engaged in leadership.
- Practice at the top of your license.
