About The Position

Wake Forest Emergency Providers provide staffing for the Cone Health Emergency Department sites through a services agreement between these world-class organizations. Cone Health is a patient-centered, provider friendly, health system headquartered in Greensboro, NC. Our providers work in four regional hospital settings and two free-standing entities. These sites range from a Level 2 Trauma medical center to efficient Emergency Medicine outpatient centers. Patient care requirements are coordinated with many medical centers throughout central North Carolina. Join Wake Forest Emergency Providers as an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) in Greensboro, North Carolina—part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country. Wake Forest Emergency Providers, affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest School of Medicine, delivers high-quality emergency care across Hospital Emergency Departments and Free-Standing Emergency Departments throughout the Greater Charlotte Market and Central and Northwest North Carolina. Our APPs practice in settings that offer a strong sense of community and teamwork, while benefiting from the clinical resources, academic collaboration, and innovation of a leading nonprofit health system. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic emergency medicine group serving five Cone Health locations across Greensboro and the surrounding communities. APPs rotate across all five sites, gaining experience in a broad range of care settings, including Moses Cone in Greensboro, a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 100,000 annual ED visits; Wesley Long in Greensboro, a smaller hospital environment; two freestanding emergency departments in the Greensboro/North High Point area; and Annie Penn in Reidsville, a rural community hospital.
