About The Position

Emergency Medical Technicians provide event medical coverage to help ensure the safety and well-being of event participants. EMTs are present as a precaution and provide immediate first aid when needed. Assignments take place in a variety of event settings, and EMTs can pick up shifts that fit their schedules. The role pays $24 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt first-aid treatment to patients reporting injuries or illnesses.
• Be prepared to administer basic life support, including CPR, to stabilize patients in critical situations.
• Evaluate patients’ conditions and determine whether they need escalation to emergency care.
• Communicate and coordinate with emergency services to facilitate patient transfers when necessary.
• Work at events in a variety of settings.
