About The Position

Lifeguard Ambulance Service is hiring full-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance. EMTs provide high-quality patient care, treatment, and customer service. The role includes assessing patients, determining and delivering appropriate care, documenting patient information and treatment, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and operating an ambulance in compliance with company safety policies and traffic laws. EMTs collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and participate in community programs to support AMR’s image and community relations. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT license.
• State driver’s license.
• BLS and NREMT.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience; healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate EMT skills, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR’s image and establish strong community relations.
