As an Emergency Medical Services Program Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Education Oversight: Administer training programs for EMS personnel and key public health partners L earning Management System Coordination: Support development and management of online continuing education resources Program Collaboration: Work with internal and external groups to improve EMS educational opportunities Material Development: Research and prepare training materials for various delivery methods Data Management: Collect and analyze program data for reporting, planning, and evaluation Regulatory Review: Evaluate applications and courses to ensure alignment with EMS standards

Requirements

  • Five years of professional experience planning, developing, evaluating or operating an emergency medical service program or providing EMS certified training or administering a college EMS training program; or Four years of professional experience planning, developing, evaluating or operating an emergency medical services program or providing EMS certified training or administering a college EMS training program; and 30 credits in health policy and administration, economics, statistics, public or business administration, emergency medicine, nursing or a related medical field; or Three years of professional experience planning, developing, evaluating or operating an emergency medical services programs, or providing EMS certified training or administering a college EMS training program; and an associate degree in health policy and administration, economics, statistics, public or business administration, emergency medicine, nursing or a related medical field; or Two years of professional experience planning, developing, evaluating or operating an emergency medical services program, or providing EMS certified training or administering a college EMS training program; and a bachelors degree in health policy and administration, economics, statistics, public or business administration, emergency medicine, nursing or a related medical field.
