About The Position
The Emergency Department Technician supports the ED clinical team in providing patient care. The role includes maintaining environmental readiness, assisting with procedures and care, carrying out assigned duties, and communicating effectively. The technician also supports departmental initiatives, including patient throughput and customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- EMT certification is required.
- Current New Jersey EMT certification or eligibility for reciprocity.
- BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Previous ED technician experience.
- NREMT certification.
