About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking to add an Emergency Department Technician to our Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center Clay located in Fleming Island. This is a Day shift full-time opportunity. As an Emergency Department Technician, you will be responsible for: Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living. Maintaining a safe environment. Collecting lab specimens. Intake and Output monitoring. Electronic medical record documentation. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed EMT or CNA Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
