About The Position

This role involves developing and overseeing comprehensive risk management programs to proactively reduce institutional liability. The position leads end-to-end investigations for claims and serious events, managing litigation across all coverage lines and serving as a key expert on clinical review teams. It also involves harnessing data capture and trend analysis to evaluate risk functions, presenting actionable insights to committees to optimize patient safety and environmental standards. Additionally, the role spearheads the creation of safety initiatives and medical staff training, including the PACT program and medical device recall protocols, to foster a culture of continuous risk reduction.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Emergency services clinical background
Leadership and Risk Management experience
Comfortable with travel to sites of care in Kansas and Oklahoma
