Emergency Department CNA/Transporter - Allenmore
About The Position
The CNA/Transporter is an excellent opportunity for supporting comprehensive health care services. Assisting with basic nursing care and providing safe and timely transport of patients, supplies, and equipment throughout the facility, this role allows for our health care services to run fluently and efficiently throughout the MultiCare facility. As a Transporter at MultiCare, you will collaborate with the entire nursing staff, hone your decision-making capacities, and enjoy daily variety and problem-solving opportunities. MultiCare Allenmore Hospital has served Tacoma since 1929, offering convenient access to primary and specialty care services. This 130-bed hospital provides advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies and a 24-hour Emergency Department, all located on a patient-friendly, easily accessible campus.
Requirements
- Current Washington State CNA or MA license
- Current BLS Certification
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care as directed by RN/physician
- Provide assistance to units by cleaning equipment and stocking supplies
- Partner by implementing your service-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and solid decision-making capacities
