How you’ll contribute A Transporter/ CNA who excels in this role: Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested, including patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, monitors and other equipment. Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfer from or to wheelchairs or stretchers. Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department. Assists staff with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue. Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with patient care experience; able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate flexibility in supporting both the OR and PACU as needed. Assists with operating room turnover between surgical cases, including cleaning and preparing the OR, and ensures rooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies for upcoming procedures. Participates in weekend call rotation (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) 1–2 weekends per month and supports additional departmental responsibilities as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Additional requirements include: Certifications: BCLS required within 30 days of hire. Handle with Care preferred.
