About The Position
OLH Inc. is hiring one Emergency Comm Designer in Greenville, South Carolina. The role develops 2D drawings for Emergency Communications System equipment and field speaker designs, creates cable schedules and equipment lists, and supports a proprietary relational database for cabinets, panels, and field devices. The designer also performs clash detection for Emergency Communications System components in 3D models and Navisworks, checks drawings and documents produced by others doing similar work, and reviews and resolves design-document comments. U.S. citizenship is required.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of cumulative relevant experience.
- Experience with 2D MicroStation CAD.
- Experience with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), IBC, ISA, and IEEE codes and standards.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in CAD or Engineering Technology.
- Experience with the Navisworks 3D model viewer.
