Emergency Assistance Navigator

The Just One Project•Las Vegas, NV

About The Position

The Emergency Assistance Navigator is the first point of connection for community members seeking help. The role listens to and assesses immediate needs, then connects people with appropriate internal programs and external community resources, including food, housing, healthcare, benefits, and employment support. The navigator provides compassionate intake, helps with applications and essential paperwork, follows up to confirm referrals are effective, and offers crisis support when needed. The role also builds relationships with community partners, maintains accurate records, and represents The Just One Project at outreach events. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Approximately six times per year, a scheduled Pop Up & Give event replaces the standard Friday schedule with a half day Friday and Saturday shift, or another supervisor-approved adjusted day.
