About The Position

Summit Golf Brands is hiring an Embroidery Machine Operator for its production team in Barneveld, Wisconsin. The company designs and sources high-end golf apparel and sportswear for more than 3,000 accounts in over 25 countries. This hands-on, full-time production role applies club logos and crests to garments using a 6-head embroidery machine. Candidates should take pride in precise work and be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with repetitive movement of the wrists, upper arms, and shoulders.
• Ability to bend, twist, and reach continuously throughout a shift.
• Willingness to take on additional duties as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior embroidery experience.
• Experience in the apparel industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 6-head embroidery machine to apply club logos and crests to garments.
• Follow production work orders for logo placement, thread colors, and garment location.
• Hoop garments accurately and efficiently.
• Send logo files to the embroidery machine using computer programs.
• Pull, set up, and correctly load thread colors according to work orders, then return them to the thread rack when jobs are complete.
• Monitor embroidery runs for proper tension, thread breaks, and jump stitches, and flag unusual issues to a supervisor.
• Trim backing and threads on longer-running jobs as time allows.
• Scan the start and end time of each job task using the tracking system.
• Keep the work area clean and organized at the end of each shift.
• Work mandatory Saturdays as needed.
• Take on additional duties as needed.
