Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-4 years of professional software development experience with a focus on object-oriented methodologies
• Proficiency in C++ and strong understanding of high-performance, multi-threaded programming
• Proven experience in embedded real-time software development (VxWorks/Linux)
• Solid knowledge of programming languages, compilers, and application execution
• Demonstrated curiosity and drive to learn outside core discipline

Nice To Haves

• Advanced C++ expertise
• Hands-on troubleshooting and development experience on embedded targets using an RTOS
• Familiarity with signal processing, control systems theory, or networking fundamentals
• Working knowledge of protocols: IP, UDP, TCP, IPSec, DDS, SNMP
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
• Previous experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or intelligence community projects
• Eligibility for a U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement embedded real-time software solutions on VxWorks/Linux platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define operational requirements and interface software and hardware components
• Drive all phases of the software development life cycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and formal testing
• Develop and maintain software test plans, procedures, and technical documentation
• Participate in peer reviews and proactively identify, track, and resolve defects
• Utilize multiple programming languages to deliver robust solutions for Windows, Linux, and embedded real-time operating systems
