About The Position

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting an Embedded Field Service Representative (Technician) to join our team, at Fort Benning, GA to support our customer, Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT). This is a remote position. The role involves providing field support services related to troubleshooting and repair of systems, performing software updates, and mentoring Soldiers in the execution of maintenance. It also includes facilitating higher level repair of equipment, ensuring support equipment is regularly calibrated and maintained, troubleshooting related product malfunctions, and installing, modifying, wiring, fabricating, and maintaining systems. A key aspect of the role is distinguishing between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.

Requirements

Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Four (4) years of total experience with the testing of electronic equipment
Two (2) years of experience in the testing and troubleshooting of electronic subsystem installations in military systems
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Responsibilities
