About The Position
We are seeking an EMAC Reimbursement Specialist to support emergency management and disaster recovery activities.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple agencies/personnel.
- Good computer, documentation, and basic math skills.
Nice To Haves
- Emergency Management experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of EMAC is a plus; Just-in-Time training can be provided.
Responsibilities
- Review disaster reimbursement packets for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify timesheets, equipment records, expenses, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with agencies and personnel to resolve missing or incorrect information.
- Assist with EMAC requests, deployments, and resource tracking.
- Prepare and audit reimbursement packages for submission.
- Reconcile costs with assisting agencies and requesting clients.
- Provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Maintain organized records and documentation.
