About The Position

Teachers, students, and school systems can either perpetuate or change circumstances of injustice, both locally and globally. This course examines these dynamics and how teachers and students work toward building just societies. Global educational philosophies, research, and practices will be examined through a social justice lens. As an online course, the content and syllabus has already been created for the course.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Education
  • Teaching experience in an online environment
  • K-12 experience in educational contexts in global contexts
  • Education as a discipline
  • Specialization in Global education and social justice
  • Bachelor of Education and/or K – 12 teaching certification
  • Teaching at the postsecondary level in an education program
  • Experience teaching in a global context
  • CV

Responsibilities
