About The Position

As an Elite Security Officer Shop Driver in Odessa, Texas, you will help safeguard clients at a retail location by conducting armed vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding professionally to security concerns, and providing customer service. This driving post supports a welcoming environment and requires clear communication, reliability, and accountability for assigned equipment. The role is part-time and scheduled for daytime/evening shifts on Mondays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security experience.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, including contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed vehicle and foot patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Maintain professional readiness and accountability for assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site procedures, and company policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly in required reports.
