The County of Orange, Social Services Agency is composed of four business divisions: Assistance Programs; Children and Family Services; Family Self-Sufficiency & Adult Services and Administrative Services; and over 4,300 dedicated employees, providing human services to an average of one in three Orange County residents. Our mission is to deliver quality services that are accessible and responsive to the community, encourage personal responsibility, strengthen individuals, preserve families, and protect vulnerable adults and children. Eligibility Supervisors (ES) are responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the work of staff who determine initial and/or continuing eligibility for one or more benefit assistance programs which include but are not limited to: Medi-Cal, CalFresh (formerly Food Stamps), CalWORKs, Foster Care, and /or General Relief. The ES also performs specialized job functions such as Computer Support Liaison, Eligibility Systems Liaison, and other duties as assigned.
