About The Position
The Elevator Worker supports grain elevator operations in Creve Coeur, Illinois. This is a full-time, hourly, first-shift position involving truck loading and unloading, barge deckhand duties, operation of powered industrial equipment, grain handling, housekeeping, and general maintenance as needed. Exceptional attendance is required. Successful completion of a background check is required.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero-injury culture and ability to understand and follow company safety procedures.
- Regular and prompt attendance; exceptional attendance is required.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including prolonged standing and sitting; working in confined spaces and at heights; bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs and ladders; working in heat, cold, dust, and other conditions; and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
- Initiative to work independently and flexibility to work in a team setting when needed.
- Professional image and positive, respectful attitude.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Responsibilities
