About The Position

The Elevator/Loadout Operator is responsible for receiving, storing, handling, blending, monitoring, and loading grain products. The role involves operating mobile equipment and control systems, using computer systems for data entry, inspecting the facility, troubleshooting issues, and following safety policies and procedures. Work takes place in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including loud and dusty environments, elevated areas, and confined spaces. The position may require 12-hour rotating shifts and driving a company-owned or personal vehicle.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Good communication and written skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, loud environments, and dusty environments.
Ability to work in elevated areas above 4 feet when necessary and in confined spaces.
Ability to perform physical duties safely, including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.
Ability to adhere to all PPE policies.
Ability to drive a company-owned or personal vehicle.

Nice To Haves

Two-year associate degree preferred.
Two or more years of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Weigh and grade inbound and outbound grain using computer and manual tools.
Unload trucks and railcars.
Load trucks and railcars.
Operate mobile equipment, including a payloader, rail mover, and skid loaders.
Operate control systems.
Use computer systems for data entry.
Inspect the facility and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Maintain a safe and clean environment.
Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures, including PPE policies.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
