About The Position

Residential Elevators is hiring a full-time, paid Elevator Install Mechanic Apprentice in the Miami, Florida area. The position is intended for people seeking a long-term career in the skilled trades. Apprentices receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced elevator mechanics while learning to install and service custom residential elevators. Most apprentices are promoted to Service Technician or Installation Mechanic within 12–18 months, with stated post-promotion earning potential of $60,000–$90,000 or more. The starting pay is $18.00–$24.00 per hour. The role is based on the road and involves travel of up to 90%, mostly regional travel from Miami.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Able and willing to travel up to 90%, mostly regionally from Miami, Florida.
Physically capable of lifting more than 50 pounds and performing hard physical work.
Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in tight spaces.
Knowledge of safe hand-tool use.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in construction, electrical, mechanical, or elevator industries.
