About The Position

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy seeks a dynamic and faith-centered full-time 4th Grade Teacher. The teacher is responsible for providing standards-based instruction across all core subject areas, including Religion, while fostering a supportive, engaging, and language-rich classroom environment. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and committed to integrating Catholic values and bilingual education practices into all aspects of teaching and learning. Candidates should embrace the mission and vision of dual-language immersion education and support students in becoming confident bilingual learners.

Requirements

Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Knowledge of Common Core State Standards and instructional best practices
Understanding of elementary student development, particularly at the 3rd grade level
Spanish language proficiency and willingness to support bilingual learning environments
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to use assessment data to inform instruction
Proficiency with educational technology tools
Final candidates must provide evidence of academic preparation completed in Spanish, such as a degree from an accredited institution where Spanish was the primary language of instruction, or demonstrate equivalent proficiency through an approved assessment aligned to ACTFL standards

Foster a positive classroom environment that supports academic, social-emotional, spiritual, and language development
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and monitor student progress
Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, and colleagues
Maintain accurate and timely records of student learning and progress
Collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
Integrate technology to enhance student learning and engagement
Support student participation in prayer, liturgies, service projects, and school-wide activities
Supervise students and participate in school events and community-building activities as assigned
