About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Elementary School Assistant to support a classical and Catholic classroom in Carrollton, Texas, for the 2026-27 academic year. This role does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as all necessary training will be provided. The academy offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. This is an hourly position with provided childcare/nursery. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be supplied, and tutors will be trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, punctuality, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be actively living the Catholic faith, including having received all appropriate sacraments. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training before employment.

Requirements

• Must be available to attend one mandatory training day on August 10, 11, or 12, 2026 (8 am-5 pm).
