About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Elementary School Assistant to support a classical and Catholic classroom in Carrollton, Texas, for the 2026-27 academic year. This role does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as all necessary training will be provided. The academy operates on a classical homeschool model within the Catholic tradition, offering formal Socratic classroom instruction on Mondays and Thursdays. This is an hourly position with provided childcare/nursery. While no additional vacation days are granted, accommodations are made for sick days. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep commitment to the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be supplied, and tutors will be trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, punctuality, a traditional understanding of the student-teacher dynamic, and must actively practice the Catholic faith, including receiving appropriate sacraments.
