About The Position

The San Diego Unified School District is seeking pre-qualified candidates for the position of Elementary School Assistant at Doyle Elementary. This role supports a site administrator and staff by performing delegated administrative duties, accomplishing assigned projects, and coordinating school activities. Requirements

  • Must be PRE-QUALIFIED for Elementary School Assistant.
  • Must have previously applied for the current Pre-Qualified Pool and successfully passed the related requirements and exam process.
  • Must submit a completed online employment application by the closing date.
  • Application must include all required attachments, current and previous employment history, and education.
  • Must answer all application questions thoroughly, clearly, and concisely.
  • Must list contact information for all previous places of employment where served in a classified (non-certificated) position.
  • Must provide a complete list of every school district, county office of education, charter school and/or state special school (Local Education Agency - LEA) with which previously employed, regardless of length of service.
  • Must provide the email address for each LEA's Human Resources or Personnel Office.
  • Must list contact information for three references (current or previous supervisor).
  • Must attach Verification of Education (Copy of a degree or official transcript, Copy of Licenses and/or Certifications).
  • For foreign equivalency, a Foreign Equivalency Certification must be provided.

  • Current monthly salaried employees receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible list for promotional/open postings.
