About The Position
This position is for an Elementary Math Interventionist at ANDRE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves developing and maintaining a classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Certification for EC-6 or EC-4 (Standard, Provisional or One-Year certificates only; ACP candidates on a probationary certificate do not qualify)
- Strong experience with at-risk / small group reading intervention and instruction
- Excellent classroom management
- Maintain emotional control under stress
- Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing
- Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as an elementary classroom teacher preferred
