About The Position

Adair County Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Classroom Teacher to join our tribe. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The Classroom Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in foundational subject areas to students in grades 3–5. This role includes creating a structured, supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive and achieve success.

Responsibilities

• Implement engaging, standards-aligned instruction based on the Kentucky Academic Standards
• Develop and deliver effective lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners
• Manage classroom behavior and establish a positive, inclusive culture
• Analyze student data to inform instruction and develop targeted growth plans
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide goals and initiatives
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and flexibility in meeting student needs
