About The Position

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the assigned core academic subject area to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. The position is at Schulenburg Elementary for the 2027–2028 school year, with a 187-day work year. The salary range is above the state base.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and Texas Teaching Certification.
• Student teaching, an approved internship, or related work experience.
• Knowledge of the assigned core academic subject.

Responsibilities

• Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of assigned students.
• Present subject matter according to guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations.
• Provide students with learning activities and experiences in the assigned core academic subject area to support their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
• Help students develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
