About The Position

The Elementary Classroom Tutor (Classroom Aide) provides academic support to elementary school students. The tutor works individually with students and in small groups, supporting learning in reading, writing, math, speaking, and listening. The role collaborates with classroom teachers to plan and implement lessons and data-informed supports and interventions, and assists students with academic work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Massachusetts teacher licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students or small groups to provide interventions and supports in reading, writing, math, speaking, and listening.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and implement lessons and data-informed supports and interventions.
• Assist students with group and individual academic work.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by teachers and/or building administration.
